What do you further expect from the mini car industry? Of course a new design and guaranteed efficiency like the 2010 Fiat 500, a small 3-door car with soft rounded styling. The car’s front combines the family feeling of the most recent Fiat models, with the distinctive elements of the first 500. The mid-line slopes on the side give an impression of sturdiness. Chrome elements, two-tone seats, and a dashboard that perfectly matches the body color are what you get inside the Fiat 500.

2012 Volkswagen Up: Simple & Charming

Mini cars have been evolving and German automaker, Volkswagen smartly creates its own version. Starting its production sometime in 2011, the Volkswagen Up 2012 will be naturally engineered for safety and emission rules. It is predicted that the VW Up will have three 1.2-liter 4-cylinder units with power outputs that range from 60 to 86 hp. It will be equipped with a six-speed manual and an optional automated-manual transmission. The low-cost mini car doesn’t look or feel cheap since it sports a few sophisticated features such as the antiskid system. Even if the engine isn’t in the rear, still in the 21^st century terms it’s charming!

Ford Fiesta: Next-Generation Subcompact

Inspired by Mazda2, the 2011 Ford Fiesta concept car has been engineered and will arrive in 2010 as a 2011 model. Like other subcompact cars, the Ford Fiesta will be fuel-economic and though it will share a new B2E corporate platform with the Mazda 2, it will have different styling and powertrains, having a more conservative look than the Verve concept. It will offer a twincam 4-cylinder engine of 1.3 and 1.5 liters or perhaps a 1.8-liter enlargement providing the extra low-end torque. Some notable features of the Ford Fiesta will be the sport suspension, 16 or 17-inch tires to replace the standard 15s, keyless power door locks, and navigation system. An option for a new Ford Sync system for voice-activated control of cellphones and portable music players will be offered.
